How to buy from us
A specialist sawmill with limited volume and long customer relationships. Here is what you can expect from us – and how to get started.
For buyers who want the same product every time
We saw small-diameter spruce and pine logs from the forests around Svärdsjö into sawn timber in 4.0 m spruce and 4.2 m pine – around 40,000 m³ a year, on the same site since 1891. Our customers are processors and timber merchants who build their production on those lengths and want the same product, in the same grade, delivery after delivery. We are family-owned: the people you deal with today are the people you deal with in five years. Volume is limited, so we never promise more than we can keep. We do not compete on the lowest price, but on consistent quality, the right lengths and a supplier that will still be here.
Two ways to buy
Long term – for continuous consumers. Our target products, the sizes we saw most of, we prefer to sell to customers who buy regularly: an agreed approximate volume per month, spread over several deliveries, at an agreed price. You get planned availability; we get a production we can plan. When availability is limited, our long-term customers come first – and new customers who want to build that kind of relationship are welcome.
Single parcels – from the stock list. Unbound volumes are sold from the stock list, in full packages, while the parcel lasts. Email sales at bodasag dot se and you will receive the stock list whenever it is updated.
Either way, we sign a contract before the goods are reserved – a long one for regular deliveries, a short one for a single parcel.
How a purchase works
- Get in touch – email or phone. Species, size, grade, moisture content, volume, when you need the goods and, ideally, what they will be used for. If you are not sure about everything, we will help.
- Availability within two working days: in stock, can be sawn in week X, or not possible.
- Quotation with price per m³, delivery week and terms. New customers are first asked for company details for a standard credit check.
- Contract – signed digitally. Only then are the goods reserved for you.
