Boda Såg i Dalarna AB holds Chain of Custody certification and can offer recognised certified products. We share our certification with Ljungträ AB, part of the same ownership group – the certificates are therefore issued to Ljungträ AB and cover both companies.
Our certificates
- PEFC Chain of Custody – certificate no. ICSE-PEFC-COC-1700304, issued to Ljungträ AB by Intertek Certification AB. Valid until 25 May 2030.
- FSC® Chain of Custody – certificate code SAI-COC-010923 / SAI-CW-010923 (certificate no. 0180817), issued to Ljungträ AB by SAI Global. Valid until 25 May 2030.
About PEFC and FSC®
PEFC and FSC® are the two leading international forest certification schemes. Both set requirements for responsible forestry – managing the forest for the long term and protecting environmental and social values – and for traceability through the entire chain from forest to finished product, known as Chain of Custody. For you as a buyer, the certificate is documented assurance of the origin of the wood.
Certified products involve additional costs in raw material, handling and administration, and are therefore priced slightly above standard products. Contact our sales team at sales at bodasag dot se for terms on your order.
FSC® Controlled Wood
We can also supply timber as FSC® Controlled Wood (FSC® CW). This requires that you as a buyer hold a valid FSC® certificate and can present it when ordering.
Marking of our products
Our packages are marked according to the rules for kiln-dried and heat-treated timber. The marking shows that the timber is kiln dried (KD) and heat treated according to ISPM 15 (HT), which is required for export to many markets.
